Most of these fertilizers give your lawn a quick green period for awhile and that's it - no long term benefits. Since using Velvet Green Lawn Food and Fertilizer we have noticed that our lawn is much healthier and beautiful. Instead of just giving us a temporary green it actually feeds the soil and is building a long term healthier lawn. It is a little more expensive but so worth it in the end."
